The 5th NY Regiment is a re-created Continental Line Regiment of 1777 whose base is Fort Montgomery State Historic Site in the spectacular Hudson Highlands. This Regiment has a distinguished history which is being re-created today. Historic sites from Yorktown, Virginia to Quebec City, Canada have hosted this group of re-enactors.
The 5th NY is actively seeking individuals and families to join this dynamic organization. The 5th NY can easily get people started in its historic and educational activities. It is well funded and equipped group who welcomes new members. The 5th NY is a member of the Brigade of the American Revolution (BAR) and Continental Line (CL) organizations.
