Who We Are....
The
5th New York Regiment was created in 2001 by a small group of Living History
re-enactors who reconnected after many years apart. Although youthful
in age, the 5th currently holds approximately eighty dues paying members on its roster
and is making a name for itself in the re-enacting community. The unit
musters out of the Fort Montgomery Battle Site and is proud to belong to
the
Brigade of the American Revolution
, the
Continental Line and the
Fort Montgomery Battle Site Association (FMBSA).
In addition to the American War of Independence living history interpretations, the 5th NY also participates in the following:
