Hello and welcome to the 5th New York Regiment’s website. The 5th New York was one of five Continental line Regiments organized by New York State to fight for our nation’s freedom. As reenactors we strive to keep the memory of this Unit alive and educate the public about the importance of their sacrifice in America’s War of Independence.

We encourage you to explore the website and learn more about the 5th New York’s History and information about joining the Unit if you so choose.
